Rising Up From Empty Skulls

there are war drums
covered in chords of mercy
in green meadows of submission
and battlefields of complexes
the fear drops slowly down the navel
and pharaos of darkness
controlled the mastery of fear
I can hear the words
rise up from empty skulls
transponder of denial of life
all dominion feeds itself from this source
like fear in the eyes
but a tree who will grow up to fight
must discover the depth below its roots
I hear the war drums of mercy
the hatchet don't wait
on the stage called life
the funeral pile too
father confessor has no more replies
'cause I don't understand these words
we're walking on the road again
slowly down the navel
confused on the exit of morality
confused on the exit of darkness
confused on the exit of mastery
